Any ideas how to get scratches off the windscreen? They were made because when it was icey the person hadn't defrosted the windscreen properly so it scratched the windscreen after using the wipers I was thinking of the people who repair cracked windscreens? Any ideas?

I repair scratches on glass at work.
Takes a while and cant get a majority of them out.
Can you feel them with your nail?
I use jewlers rouge, water and a buffing head to remove scratches.
Could dull them down a tad at least

I can feel them with my nail yeah. But its not very deep I don't think, more just a nuisence being on the windscreen in view all the time. Where you get the things you use?

Yeah is quite a good one, my windscreen could do with it tbh but it sounds like quite a long laborious process. Results look good though.

I was aware of the lake country kit but didn't realise it could tackle things that well! Looks like I may have been wrong! Good luck! Look forward to seeing the results if you do tackle it!

I think in general it's pretty hard to get the kit over here - anybody from over here that I've seen using it have imported it from America. That thread from DW posted above is an American too.
I can speak to one of my suppliers who stocks some of the Lake Country gear if you want and see if they can get it in? Obviously I'll get a price first as I don't know how much it is.

If you could let me know a price Rich that would be great. Me being me, I won't want to spend much on removing windscreen scratches though, won't make me go any faster will it.
