Whats the crack? 300+bhp whats the retail on one of those. Its no ferrari...

Women at work has one, Brembos (standard???) up front, nice seats (look similar to corsa VXR ones), big rims, wide rims, gay exhaust tip cover like the corsa vxr.

She said shes getting 14mpg out of it at the moment as its still tight.

14mpg, isn't it a 3.0 V6 turbo? F**k a duck thats poor economy (normal driving mode). We're getting nearly double that from the Astra.

Im gussing they are sub 30k though?

Probably around £28k.

14mpg out of a 3.0 v6 with somebody who's just bought a new toy driving... My bet is she nailed it sideways into your work this morning. (Edit: it's 4x4 isnt it... so ignore that comment.... )(Edit2: It's a vauxhall, my comment stands ) Flamesuit.

A friends dad has a white one, theyre nice imo.

23k I saw one for the other day, no idea where.

14mpg is a bit shit, I bet you could get better easily if you drove properly. She probably drives to the shops and back all the time.

Thorney said while developing tuning parts said they really do get better when they loosen up a bit.

Awesome bit of kit for the money.

Can I have a cuddle?

biggest let down in cars iv driven

slow, no sense of acceration, astra would mince it to 100. and feel alot quicker

and bog down when launching, and wont even step out of line if giving it out of a 90 degree turning

though feel planeted on the road

Thats another thing everyone says is that it feels slow, I bet it's not really just so well put together it feels slow.

Fastest car I've ever driven in a sense that it felt like it was doing 200mph was my mates AX GT but really it wasn't that quick

I can relate to that, doing 90 in the corsa felt silly quick. Doing 90 in the 350 feels like 70

Shes had an astra VXR (x2), she currently has a Clio R200, the Insignia is her husbands. Shes in her 40's, and whilst im sure she doesn't drive slow, you can only go so fast in rush hour traffic.

She thinks it pulls like a train though, but i watched a track video last night and wasn't that impressed with the way the speedo went up.

14mpg's not that bad when you consider its 4x4 & turbo!!

I got 21mpg from mine yesterday when driving a bit mad & its neither 4x4 or turbo!!

Byron? Can't remember if it was him but if it was I don't think he works with vaux as he has had all sorts of cars to test.

I really like the insignia. Looks german without actually being german

The VXR I think looks a bit odd though. A very big car and all the various extra body bits don't sit all that well tbh.

Would far rather a VXR8
