my mates civic just passed its mot with his screamer pipe, they sais as long as it dont funtion during the test its fine

it will pass the wastegate shouldnt go off in an mot the emissions are tested at 3000rpm wastgate shouldnt open at 3000rpm and thats the only time they should rev the car up unless there playing lol

It may be directed back into the exhuast so,he didn't say if it was an atmospheric one.

as said the pipe wont be doing anything on an mot . will only open under load/throttle

will only open once target boost has been reached anyway which revving a car will never get into positive vacuum.
