After nearly 10 years of owning the Corsa, it had to go to the scrapyard in the sky yesterday!
To make matters worse, it didn't get picked up by a Hiab, it left on the back of a skip wagon; with no dignity

Was picked up at 8.30am, RIP K445 NYJ - we had some good times

It cried oil all over the drive on Friday night, knowing it was going

Sad times but that's a cool way to part company, well more interesting than being loaded by the wheels.

Yeah it was pretty cool seeing it flying there, bit nervous when it swung out towards the audi and missed it by a hair's width.

Also, didn't realise scrap was that high at the minute, As it was collected, I was expecting 50% of its scrap value, so about £40 for an £80 weigh in - but I got £140 collected!

not to people's tastes nowadays but it was bloody immaculate; not a spot of rust or a scratch on it - just shows what a couple of years of neglect does!

really was spotless, even under the bonnet

rotten front and back ends, non runner, rear hubs seized.

I've already sold the wings, tailgate, bumpers, spoiler, half the interior, alarm, battery, single wiper, bucket seats and so on just got a few bits left. Made about £1000 so far which is more than i would have got selling it as a whole.

it was on the drive, in the way and however many plans I had running through my mind, 2.5years of neglect just ruined it and with trying to do the house up, I'd never have got round to it.

Best way for it to go IMO, if it got sol someone else would be driving around in your work (for less than you already have made) other option is crashing it,, wher parts would ben knackered, and you woul of destoryed all you had built. Least you let it go by choice
