I bought a set of Jamex coilovers and mine don't catch at all. Although there is a rattling from the back of my car now which makes me think they were not fitted properly or tight enough. Does the height adjuster go on the bottom or top of the spring? As mine sits above the spring making it impossible to adjust without jacking the whole car up again or a ramp.

I've got AVO rear coilovers and mine didn't catch at all, can get my hand around the collar.

These are proper rear coilovers as well not like the cheaper ones.

The adjuster goes under the spring.

Rear coilovers are usually just like normal suspension but the rear spring sits on a cup thing that you screw up and down to adjust the height. Apart from some, I think it's GAZ that do ones where the spring is around the strut.
