Word up,

Crossfit is the ultimate way to mess you up. I'm a big fan but I won't bore you with the details (check out crossfit.com if you wanna know more about it!)

I've been setting myself Workouts of the Day that I can do in the gym without the need for any Olympic Lifting expertise. Its all bodyweight and therefore anyone can do it!

Today's workout was as follows:

4 x (500m row, 50 burpees) for time.

So, you do 500m row, 50 burpees, 500m row, 50 burpees etc etc 4 times through in as quick a time as possible

My time was 33mins29seconds, anyone willing to take up the challenge?

Somebody will I'm sure. I'm way behind on my CV stuff. I can just about manage to do 2000m on a rower before dying. Although now its nice out I'll be running outdoors alot more.

You get over it when you've done the first 25. If people are watching they don't tend to make eye contact after that point

Maybe we should do it together? Whenever the meet is at yours we will pop over and do it in perfect syncronisation. See how much of the gym clears out.

Well, the Crossfit site posts a workout every day but theres a MASSIVE archive to pick from too. A lot of it involves olympic lifts/kettlebells as well as bodyweight. I basically replace the techniques I can't do with techniques I can.

Search for "Crossfit Angie", "Crossfit Cindy" and "Crossfit Murph" if you're looking for some good starters
