they are doing Captain America : First Avenger & The Mighty Thor before they do the actual Avengers Movie..

Samuel L Jackson has signed for 9 marvel movies so he needs to be in all the random ones then in Avengers

also read the Death of Captain America, its wicked (the 3 part series not the long drawn out one with X-Men crossover etc)

Yeh there was a clip at the end of the credits, Agent Coulson fella is driving into South Mexico, theres a huge crater, he rings Fury and says either "Thor, we've found him OR Sir we've found him" theres some debate one which he says, i thought sir, but then it goes to a clip of Thors hammer, the original design aswell......then ends
