If your dipstick is showing it's a bit low, how much would you top up with, or is a case of top up a bit and keep checking dipstick

I think my oil cap on my X18XE is bust, seems to be leaking from there as isn't completely tight. Trip to the scrappy tomorrow!

New car (to you) could just do a change for peace of mind.

you just have to keep checking it

if you guess like will has done it could end up over filling and thats bad for the engine

Ok I assumed that was the case, just wondered if there was an easy way

It's getting a full service, and camblet/water pump, and rear discs and pads in the month monies!

i put in 500ml, wait a bit, check dipstick again, then add another 500ml if needed.

my car can be missing 2litres of oil sometimes

Its 1 litre between the min and max marks as Sean says.
