ok, the situation is this. i am not a massive football follower at all, dont watch match of the day, ill watch important games like finals etc, but im more the type of person who will hear that 'mascherano' is moving clubs, and 'beniteds' (?) is a crap manager, so ill then try to appear knowledgeable by commenting to mates, but arent!!
but the world cup fascinates me, so i love watching it!!
but the other day, i was ready tw@ my sister as she was whinging that for a month there will be nothing but football on! so we argued about it, and i told her that over the course of 4 years, the percentage of football on compared to shit like all the soaps that are on, and wimbledon, and non related football stuff, clearly outweighs the amount of football on. (regular terrestrial btw)
but she is a woman, so i am wrong.

didnt you just buy the world cup game as well?
Have you got sky? Surely she can watch that, or bbc3 or itv2. You'd think they'd just move stuff over to the digital channels?
