i have 2 mates who both compete in the SMRC , one competed last year and the other one just started this year.
this is my mates who competed last year ( he never crashed, but was close to hitting him)
But this is the pic of my other mate that had the crash,The racing was going really well he was sitting 4th with 1 lap 2go......then disater struck when he put the car 80 to 100mph into tyre wall and ended on my roof. The shell is fucked so he is away down south today to buy a new one. The car wil be finished and ready for next race he says!!
the main thing he is alright..... but the car is not a nice sight!!

i aint too sure mate, the only one i can think it might be is either the hair pin or duffus?
i am still working over in indonesia, this is just the pic i was sent of it!! but the racing is on today aswell, so he will miss out on the points for it!
he might have a shell by now though!!!
bet he is so gutted, its only his second race in it!!
on the other hand, i think my brother in law with the first cossie i posted is still doing well, and currently running on full power 618bhp, with uprated front and rear diffs and some other cheeky mods this year!!

my brother in law (the first pic) he has a farm with his old man and sister, but his mum died few years back so they converted all the sheds into commercial units, and have errected heaps of massive sheds, for oil company , car painter, various others, so he just sits back everyday and watches the money roll in whilst fucking about with his car and stuff.....
my mate that crashed is the same as me, works offshore in the oil.

Oh dear
At least it was being used properly though, not written off by some idiot going to fast down a B-road making friends with a tree.

Ouch, I thought he had that under control for a minute!
Fair play for not letting it knock him back and getting it reshelled quickly.
I am loving the size of those brakes!

oh and the guy that crashed, his brother is just starting to built a mark6 fiesta with cossie angine and 4x4 running gear to race in this championship aswell, so maybe next year he will be ready to enter it!!
i was tempted to start aswell, as i ad the perfect donor car (wasnt a vauxhall!!) but due to working away etc, i wouldnt have had the time to get it built and would miss out on too much races and points!!
i ll just stick to my motorbikes
