I posted a printer/scanner via UPS/Interparcel.com

This has arrived with the scanner glass smashed.

UPS said glass is not permitted to be sent through them although its not exactly a window! And was send well package + the standard HP packing

Do i need to refund the seller? 50/50 cost? Surley you would here the glass and refuse to sign?

If you said postage was insured and it wasn't insured properly then it's your hit to take IMO.

Make sure he sends it back to you first

And only refund him his cost of buying it, not postage to him and his postage to you
