My gf's cars (mk 4 golf) headlight has suffered a stone chip, seems as if the headlights are glass.

It's only a tiny pin prick hole?

What could we use to fill it? Was thinking along the lines of alraldite, but would that be up to the job?

a new headlight is 70 quid; there's only a tiny little hole
