If I'd spent that amount on a set of wings, I would quite like the fit to be right.

mmm shame they don't fit very well, just the same with CF and FG.
Sorry did not relize you fitted them for me , the fit is 100% correct
You do realise CF or FG never fits 100%, don't lie to your self, I wasn't having a dig at your wings just moulded panels in general.

I've spent £300 on carbon. Fit isn't 100% perfect. It never will be unless your making custom parts.
In the same way aftermarket bumpers never fit as good as standard items.
Thats just the way things are unless your happy to spend a fortune.

The fit should be a hell of a lot better for the amount people pay. The material cost for these things makes up the minority of the retail price. I wonder what you're paying for most the time.

Your saying Carbon fibre is cheap then? Its very expensive.
Most of the time your paying for the labour and time its taken to do x amount of moulds and get the shape as close as possible. then its just labour and materials + markup price or it wouldn't be worth doing.
I'd love to get into carbon making. I'd make a carbon fibre house

Thanks for letting me know that. I wasn't aware of the price of carbon fibre.
