1200 is a torquey beast, great budget cruiser in the revised 1250 spec.

I really like the bandit, he had a TDM850 before that which was dog shit, and he had a VTR1000 Firestorm before that which was an epic bike, fuel tank was too small on it though

ha ha you live in Scotland, its mostly raining anyway
matt, went to Swindon to try a VTR, another classic bike, stomping VTwin, but as you say awful sized fuel tank and 30mpg isn't good. At least I can get 17 litres in Nelly, but thats only good for 100-110 miles

I don't see fun in being cold and wet. Plus i don't see too much benefit from it. Some people can just naturally ride, others can't.

tbh, i wouldn't ride mine in the wet either if I didn't have to go to work on it
Hence why after the wedding next year, I think Damien will reside to moving back into a car for the work trip, and just have a summer bike and become one of the pussies
Although wet is something I never am, and not usually cold either. All about the right bike gear

Thats nice, thats for sharing that with us.
Whats the point of bikes if you can't filter. That would be a great help in the all countries major cities and towns for aiding congestion wouldn't it......

Bikes dont take that much room up, okay fair enough maybe in countries like India where Bikes are alot more common than cars ye they should filter but over here they shouldnt filter we have to queue especially if we should take more caution to look out for them. If they use the road they should use it like everyone else and not filter but thats my opinion

i have just came back from 2 month in Indonesia, and trust me, there is no rules there, i would rather filter here than there, its rediculous, but the car drivers, take care and notice of the bikes, and thats why they have no problems, its ignorant badgers like you that causes accidents by sayin "oh fuk you biker, i have to wait in this , so so do you" then you close the gap up or totally cut the biker off, thus makin him brake hard etc, thats what results in mirrors being kicked off, have concideration for everyone on the road, and there will be no problems (as i seen in Indonesia)

Indeed, people who close the gap intentionally (Durrrrrr thick f**ks, were watching your eyes off your mirrors, we can see that you see us coming and purposly move over to block, we're not stupid!!).
Thats went doors get kicked, and mirrors go flying.
