As the title suggests, It started pissing it down with rain and now I'm pissed off! I was in the middle of colour coding my handles and just put on a second layer of lacquer when the heavens opened on a nice sunny day! The damage is minimal but I dropped one on the paper while frantically taking them inside.
What is the best way to fix it? Do I need to sand the whole thing down and start again or can I just do the part that is messed up?

Been nice and sunny here all day today.
I'd sand it back and start again

I dont know how to explain it but uno when you touch wet paint, basically that when it hit the paper.

Wait for paint to dry. Flat back lacquer with very fine wet and dry. Polish, providing the damage is something and nothing.

Better to be pissed off than pissed on as they say.

Well I was both.
I've sorted it now. Got the finest paper I could and lightly did it. Cant tell anything had happened. Cheers.
