Just purchased a set of AP coilivers from ebay, says theyve done 8k miles and their in good condition

One of the shocks pushes down more easily than the other, and can do it quite quick

I have no idea if this is normal or not, or how to tell if a shock is good / bad? Also can they be refilled with oil?

Any help appreciated

No, just height adjustable

Also I noticed they have no helper springs with them. From what iv read these are just to stop the spring moving about when the cars jacked up
