The action bits were OK in themselves but every episdoe wa slike 5/6 months apart and they kept followign different people so half the time Id forgotten the older characters :S

must admit, I finished the pacific a couple of weeks back and got set straight onto BoB.
I didnt think BoB was that great compared to the pacific myself, I know most people will disagree.
I think theres a tendancy for a new type of program to be better the first time you see it purely because its different to anything else. If I had watch BoB first, I probably wouldnt have enjoyed the Pacific as much.

Disapointing I thought, first few episodes were great. They didn't show Hiroshima though, just mentioned it at the end of an episode

Episodes 1-7 were below average IMO and didnt get me on board. It was only until episode 8 when it started to get interesting

Thought it was quite good personally. Not as good as BoB but still better than 99% of the shite on tele.
Episode 9 was the best.

I thought it was good aswell. It just didnt seem long enough for me. As if there should have been an episode between each one just to fill in the gaps.

Watched the first two and then downloaded band of brothers to watch it again (Last time I saw it was when it was on BBC first time round)
The two I watched I just couldn't follow. Something like the opening episode of BoB's would've been good.

I could relate to BoB a bit more as we were closer to it. Plus anything with Nazi's in is generally interesting

I wouldn't say boring. Just very different. If you watch the Extras on the DVD and find out what they were trying to achieve then it is very good.

It's good in a different way to BoB, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. But at the end of the day it might not be as good as BoB but it's much better than watching 'Take me Out'

Never bothered to finish watching it. Died of boredom halfway through.
BoB I kept wanting to watch episode after episode. With the Pacific I was forcing myself to watch it rather than wanting to.
