Used to have loads of these as a kid

Tamiya Mini 4wd

Used to come in boxes like this



They were small, 1/32 iirc, used to build them up with a motor and little 4wd axle and gears, all you could do was switch it on and let it drive forward forward, i remember you could change the gear from a low to a high one if you wanted higher top end

I've got one under the bed, lost the clip at the back that keeps the shell to the chassis

My cousin had one of these too



I used to think it was well quick back then because it did 30mph



he also had one of these and i was well jealous

i had a fair few with loads of hop up bits too. Useless thogh as they only really took off in japan where they used to race them on tracks.
