geeza in a 400brake mk2 vrt came up to buy my old mk2. thing sounded like a muscle car when it came into the street. Would love to turbo mine but dont have the skills and money to do it

What? It's literally a case of bolting a turbo on, making some shiny pipes and possibly sorting some engine management if you do it right, can get away with a chip though, no internal mods needed as the engine is fairly low compression.

There's really not a lot to it.

thats if you charge it. im quite sure you need a spacer plate on the head for a turbo

You shouldn't do, not for 5 or 6 psi anyway

5mm spacer plate on the one this end. going to be running a 7psi spring to bed everything in and then upping to a 12 or so i think.

It really isn't. It's attaching off the shelf parts onto an engine.
