HI

Well i'm thinking of selling the zafira and getting some kind of a diesel, always liked the leons...

Has anyone had any experience with these, weather its owned driven or whatever would be appreciated.

Or any suggestions on anyother diesel as i don't have a clue, should have 6-7k too spend hopefully

Cheers Chris

I own a Seat Leon (1.8T Petrol) and i love the car! great to drive, very nippy and responsive with the sporty image.

Owners of the diesel versions seem to love them also as they have high amounts of torque. Have a quick nose on www.Seatcupra.net for further info or even stick up a post there.

That to, there's loads of different maps around. People seem to get good gains with minimal outlay or effort.

Yeah I saw that one earlier, looked nice. Will have to find one local in a garage and have a test drive I think.

I've driven a Fabia vRS with PD130 engine and loved it.

Also driven an A3 with PD110 and that was nice too.

The PD150 engine in the Leon is great and once mapped will absolutely fly

I've got a Leon FR+ TDI and it's great! Had it since January 2007 and no plans of getting rid of it. Simple remap easily sees it at (standard) Cupra R/ Civic type R territory, hybrid turbo and the sky's the limit!

have you heard of the 'Custom Code - VVT Attack' map?
meant to give nearly 300bhp to standard LCRs

not this new map. Stage 2 (standard turbo, FMIC and exhaust system), guy saw 301bhp on first run but used the middle result from 3:

Figure seems a bit too optimistic to me, I might be wrong but I haven't heard or seen any LCR's running that kind of power from the K04s (IIRC). The standard turbo wasn't made to run 75bhp plus over the factory output. It's like saying mine'll run over 220bhp from the standard turbo, if it would, I wouldn't spend the money on a hybrid.

It's a brand new map that uses the dormant VVT. Only came out in the last week or so.
it's the same as their VVT attack map for the R32 V6 engines.

would like to see more RR results from this map before i bite the bullet.

They can do TTs and S3s too.

They never made a PD110, only 100, 105, 115, 130, 150, 160. The 110bhp tdi is a non PD

my mistake, it's a 105 or 115. it's my brothers A3 (think it's the 105 version)
