Well the Scooby has now been sold taking it on Tuesday.

Basically i need a runabout for college etc as my wife has a nice car. Seem to be a LOT of okay cars out there for that amount but looking at something for sayyy £1200 or lower so i can knock it down MOT and TAX would be a big bonus.

Here's a list of a few possible suspects...

Beemer 323i

Puma 1.7

Puma 1.7

I know the mileage won't be correct on that one ^^^^^^^

Mondeo-Just an example this one

This one has heated seats FFS

Veccy 2.2 SRI

This one is top of the list ATM..

Not 100% sure on what i want TBH as long as it's an okay motor and not a proper shit heap was thinking Saxo VTR but can't seem to find any at that price.

Any ideas???

That's a bit slow loading up mate that normal??

Seen a few GSI's with 150/160K on! That kind of mileage okay without a rebuild?

before i sold the vectra i seriously looked into 1 as i was planning on selling and buying a cheap car plus save some cash..... turns out theyre excelent cars by all accounts and are very easy to tune.

did i hear superchareged?

Why not a T5? Heated leather, everything electric and would easily outrun your Impreza if it was a standard terzo.

The Vecra will get below 30mpg put it that way! And if fuel consumption is an issue, I'll retract my T5 statement I'm averaging 18mpg.
