Bit sad I know but not literally plane spotting, just wondering if anyone has been down to heathrow to watch the planes coming and going. I found a random spot outside heathrow where the planes come over just before landing which was cool. Driving through heathrow I did see a footpath that gives full view of the planes touching down. Just wondered if anyone had been to any of the spots on this site... http://www.plane-mad.com/airport-spotting-guides/united-kingdom/london-heathrow-lhr-egll.html

Usually go to liverpool and sit at the end of the runway. Theres a road with a layby that is right at the bottom of the runway.

Work at Heathrow Airport every day so I see enough planes landing/taking off.
If the planes are landing on the Northern runway theres a good bank you can stand on near T5. The old bill do checks quite frequently on plane spotters - think its just a friendly chat but always see them parked up talking to them

I work on the Reserviors around Heathrow at the Western end of the runway. Get some good views from up there.

I used to go to a pub near Feltham, I think it was the Green Man or something like that I can't remember, was a few yards away from Hatton Cross.

It was down the road from where I worked - so we used to go there after work sometimes!

seriously though, when you're free I'll come pick you up and we can get a beer there (and a bum round the back by the bins).
I JUST saw you in Orange (was stalking you), but you looked really busy
