I've been there... It was a while ago. There's a long steep uphill ride to the front gate... I was already knackered then. They were still building things when we were there. I'm guessing it's all finished now.

The sections that are there now are supposed to be complete yeah. It says on that site they are going to add more.
What did you think of what was there when you went?

I'm nearly healed up, my chin is taking its time but it was a pretty bad cut so to be expected. Looks better than it did and had the stitches out. Most of the bruises have gone just about.
I went out on my bike for the 1st time since the crash on Thursday night and felt quite good. Wrist still hurts a bit but its getting better all the time so I should be 100% before long.

Yeah ok mate. I'll have to try jumping and see how my wrist copes before hand!
Think I'll be wanting some knee pads if I'm going there too.

It was really good. I'm more of an XC rider. That maybe due to the £300 bike.... that I bought back in 1999. It's go a massive 40mm of travel on the front forks
Here are a few pics...
Me at the start of the ride.... F00KED
Barrier not even fixed yet!
Very close to the edge!

I like the look of the track in the last pic. Get a massive buzz when you ride along stuff with a drop to one side

That ones nothing...
There is one where you're working your way back down and there is a big drop to your left. You can't stop as the ground is loose so you might slip and fall. You really have to keep on going. You'll be doing about 15-20mph.

i used to take my trials bike to lee mill quarry a few years ago. i lived on lee rd which was next to the road that leads up to the quarry . try riding a trials bike on the thin paths , its a bit scary when you cant even ride a bike.
