im kinda curious as ive seen c20xe corsas go for jack shit and i appreciate there is always a healthy loss financially but im gonna list the spec and some pics and give me your opinions - be fair though please lads

aside from the engine (80k ish)
and the car (58k) bought as a standard 1.4 sport

EVERYTHING HAS DONE LESS THAN 1K MILES FROM NEW (712 to be exact) (aside from cage and morrettes)

here goes...

body:
morrettes with H.I.D kit
genuine plastic reiger front bumper
debadged grill
fiberglass bonnet with locking aerocatches
inovite "VI" 16inch lightweight alloys that were sandblasted and powdercoated last month
including 4 brand new toyo proxes


engine/chassis:
c20xe engine (80k) dispac running new clutch kit,bearing and lightweight flywheel
new cambelt kit and w/pump aswell as pas belt and alt. belt
mantzel powercap and silicon hosesnew lambda/cts/ignition module etc
mocal oil cooler kit with braided lines
slimline fan kit
polished rocker/cambelt covers/strut brace/heatsheild
new battery
spax rsx coilovers with new top bearings
eibach camber bolts
polybushed
goodridge flexis (aswell as rerouting new lines through the engine bay for neatness)
calibra turbo brakes - new drilled and grooved ebc discs/new pads
rear brakes and bearings all brand new incl. cylinders
chris astley mounts/hubs with new bearings
courtney shafts
full stainless 2.5 inch system

interior:
remote locking -and the usual sport bits
momo wheel and boss
corbeu suede recliners with subframes/sparco 4 -points
matching suede gaiters
custom carbon centre console/digi dash/ digital gauges (all work of course)
safety devices 4 point cage with digonal (not yet fitted) and stripped rear

probs loads more but i cant remember-lol

this car wernt cobbled together as a few people know,and took a couple of years and a lot of attention went into doing it right (although im aware everybody whos thinking of selling says that)

would it suprise you if i said less, a standard sport with that milage/age in that condition goes for £1k, as i said im no fool thinking its worth loads but i though it was worth maybe £1k more than you said - granted its not a c20let but i spent money trying to build a good "allrounder"

Anything above that, 2.5k+ for example and you're in LET territory. It's a nice car though.

it almost would be cost effective to put a let in it...lol, i guess im deluded a bit then,it sucks that no matter how well work is carried out its still only my word eh

What its worth and what someone is willing to pay has to be considered.

Ive seen XE Corsa's sell for £2.5k before with similar spec, C4RSA went for around £2.5k iirc?

2 years back i advertised my 1.6 sport with 68k on for 3k...i got 3k...first to see bought. advertise for what you want, people can only say no

i guess, id just hate to bang her on pistonheads and get a flaming on here lol, i guess if i decide to sell ill just have to try my luck on the buyers market, if i cant get 2.5k i think id happily keep it (providing i dont pup the missus anytime soon), thanks guys

not really, but im fussy and would have to fully rebuild a LET if i put one in= more cost
im sure im not alone on here but since i started the build my tastes have matured if you will - (i like old rwd vaux/opels a lot),its not a daily driver and is garaged so i could tuck her away and maybe let it next year or something - i know id like the power
