Take One 1.2 Corsa and fit a 1.8 simple

1.8 gearbox mount threads stipped, had to use the 1.2 one and engine mount

Something missing here completely.....oh no tb gasket

Cam pulley ****ed, been fitted incorretly and damaged the lug, luckerly had a new one

One 100% ****er tensioner and bolt.....deffently needed a cambelt kit!!

Oh look something else.....broken rocker cover gasket, and new cambelt kit and cam seals

1.8 going in

fitting cams

Now awaiting parts

Tomorrow list is sort out wiring.

thanks mate, your a mate, mate

I hate wiring, but i think im the only person who as managed to fit a 1.8 into a 1.2 without changing the interior loom, though havent started it yet as still need parts! but getting fuel and only codes ar aircon ones

only a few wires, wouldnt take long......

two wires left, an extra live feed with nowhere on TIS to show where to put it, and blue/green which i believe is oil pressure light, again no diagram to show what terminal it needs to be
1.8 BCM, Instruments, Chip and Immbo ring fitted (need to adjust milage )

No codes, after fixing a few problems

workings, proof i did work it out
