but get the 1.8 and not the 2.2

2.2s are shit tbh, 1.8s are the way to go, its the same engine as in the corsa c sri 1.8 and the zafira 1.8

just get a 1.7 puma for 1-1.5k

will be alot more fun than the other choices and cheap to fix/maintain.

Had a Mk3 Anni 16v,was slow.Too heavy.Can be made to look nice though.

You would get a decent Vec Gsi for less than 2k but they are thirsty.Bro replaced his WRX with a P1 Vec Gsi and the fuel bill wasnt any better.

I would sway towards the Mk4 Astra or Puma out of those options.

the 2.2 is a better drive than a weezie 1.8 and has a nicer gearbox

Astra out of those.

The Focus isn't all that for a 2.0. Was less on insurance than a 1.6 Zetec S Fiesta when my misses was looking at cars.
