Well I was rang today by bt and offered a telecoms engineer apprenticship with openreach subject to criminal record check . To say I'm chuffed is an understatement. Fingers crossed no more call centre for me. Yey.....

Ohhh I'm nearly 22 so expected to be overlooked

Nicely done mate. What's the training like - NVQ and an HND?

TBH the most worthwhile experience is the practical stuff. Try to get as much experience as you can and get as many certifications (Krone, fibre, etc.) as possible.

Yes mate a three year course. All managers start as apprentices nowadays. It's a big opertunoty as I am actually clever but fucked about since being 15
