My girlfriends uncle's who lives 2 doors up took me out in his car for a play this afternoon. He built it himself literaly, its an ariel atom style car with a bike engine in the back! I never expected it to be so good! the carbs a right next to your ear  its amazing, the power is just incredible because its so light and the flat shift is just something else! getting back in the corsa was a joke
Just thought i'd share it with you all, no pictures as of yet though unfortunetly. Im hopeing he's aloud to take it to combe next month, so some of you can see it in action

Any idea what the car was or what engine it has?
 sounds like you had fun dude, I remember going for a spin in a Lotus Elise for the first time, seems really fast and loud but we were only doing national speed limit

was it a MEV Rocket? Have a look on thier site and see if it's one of those.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Its got a gsxr 1000 behind the seats, yes it does look almost the same as one of those MEV Rockets ste, i never thought a 1000cc bike engine could be so powerfull

i have a freind who is seliing his atom kit car unfinished for 5k st170 engine all it needs is seats and exhaust and plumbing in
