Firstly prepare it all properly. Make sure its de greased and smooth. Then use a coat of plastic primer, then normal primer.
When all that has dried go over with a couple of coats of normal primer then flat it off if it needs it.
Then go over with your colour, Take it easy and don't put too much on at once. A few coats or until you are happy with it.
Then go over with a few coats of laquer and allow it to dry and harden.
When its dried off properly, just get some polishing compound and some fine wet and dry and flat it off. The polish up with the polishing compound.
Allow it to fully harden then refit them to the car.
As for the colour match, Just make sure it is as near as possable. Don't get any of that stuff from halfords (The readymixed stuff), Just go into your local paint suppliers and they should mix you up a couple of aerosols
