Just wondering what oil people use for track days.
im thinking of changing to 5w/50, has anyone had use of this?

IIRC my mate whos running a race car is using 5w/60

It would be a good idea yes, as the temps will obviously be a lot higher than normal.

20w50 or 10w60 would be my suggestions

10w 40 as its a cheap car

I just use the stuff that comes in the service kit from ECP if its clean and topped up its all good for me.




Civic used to run 0w 40 mobil one which was silly expensive and it used to burn a shit load on track

VTS burns sweet fa no matter how you drive it

its a track car, that is also sometimes used on the road. although never a short journey.

Meh, I helped build alot of this car, need to get it on track asap, I might be getting a go too
