I don't trust that site.
Had some twat mess me around last year when I wanted to swap my Corsa for a Punto GT.
Other than that, I was offered nowt but crap such as a Pug 106 1.0L 'turbo' which was chavved up.

Yeah, this is exactly what the twat with the Punto I mentioned above told me, bar he claimed to have 9 points. Erm... a 12v Corsa would be ideal then, not much out there cheaper to insure!

my mates just succesfully done a straight swap on there for a very tastefully modded escort, reg as 1.3 with a 1.8 dohc plenty of mods under the bonnet, dvd screen mounted in dash etc etc and swapped for a very clean mk 4 astra in black with a nice exhaust

It's a Zetec-S according to the reg check sites. It's not insured according to MID.

yeah I do quite like the zetec s, so it is a shame, the fact it's got a replacement engine sounds like it's been abused to me? I refused and he asked how much cash I would take... not sure what it's worth really. I paid over the odds for it at £2495 in february 2009... not going to get anywhere near that for it

The engine swap wouldn't concern me too much. It's a W reg so would of had a phase1 engine to start with and these are known to blow
