Hmmm is what I have to say about this one.
Not sure why you would see it twice unless you've got a bad enough memory to forget it as soon as you walked out.
Not bad, I quite enjoy films like that, not sure about the 9.3 IMDB rating though.

Went last night, dont see why people were all hyped up about it, and why if you blink you will miss the plot, i guessed what was going on for a few bits, and actually started to find it a bit boring when they were in the 3rd level.
6/10 for me, it only gets that score as its a pretty fresh idea (though very matrix like), and the acting was quite good.

Matrix is exactly what I was thinking the whole way through, the writer was obviously a fan.

i went to see it and its a good film but you really need to stay focused on it so you dont get lost in the plot but i thought it was a good film and well thought out

Apart from matrix was executed better.
I agree with you John for once. Although I thought Inception was a fairly good film and I really liked the core concept, the execution was a bit sloppy.
The film overly complicates things for no reason and feels like it misses opportunities with others.
e.g. The entire training montage with the girl, watching her learn how to bend the world, do clever things with mirrors etc. In my opinion that whole part (or her whole position as architect) was a waste of time when they actually went through the levels. The snow level was supposed to be a 'maze' but it just looked like a snow level?
I won't go into it any more, overall it was a good film - but could've been so much better. I think many people just rave about it because they think 'oh, that was confusing... and I think I get it... therefore it's awesome'.

Even the fact they put so much emphasis on 'the architect' how much more matrix can you get.
I think the IMDB rating is from those people who think it's cool to act like they know some deeper meaning.

Yeah, it's hilarious reading online some of the 'theories' to actual flaws in the film.
Like, the first kick didn't actually wake Arthur up, despite him being only 1 level above.
It was good - but just some of it felt a bit like it was trying to be more confusing / clever on purpose - but actually it was neither.
