I've tried to avoid retro rides because I'll buy something stupid. That may be an old bm, but its not a great one. There was a 2002 on there for under 2k a month it two ago. THAT is a retro bm.

You're confusing retro and cool for simply old and clapped out.

Of course he's agreed, his car is worth about £300 on a good day. Painting the panels like a blackboard doesn't double its value.

I actually laughed out loud when I saw that. I went into it thinking this will be some right pile of shite and I was right. I bet it stinks of cabbage inside. You should go visit your local breakers, there must be so much car porn for you in one.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

If you save for a couple of months before selling your car you could actually get an E30 325m. THAT is retro cool.
