Basically need to send people texts from a short code i've got "66569"
It's a subscribed service, so when people register to the number I need it to send 2 texts out.
I then need some form of system that keeps note of how many texts the person has been sent per week.
I can sent 3 texts a week to these numbers, example;

I text "REGISTER" to 66569 ,my number is then put in a system, I recieve 2 texts back automatically.
I then recieve a text tomorrow with some info on it.
How can I keep track of how many texts have been sent to this number? Is there any gateway systems that exist? So I can log in, see all the numbers there, see how many texts they've had per week, and write out the messages i want to send etc....?
If not who could programme such a thing? I need to find a company who do it ASAP, but having no luck.
I know its a long shot on here, but worth an ask.... Thanks!

The system I use is called red oxygen, I only have the most basic program they offer, so they may have something to help you alex.
And it can be all web based if you wish.

I use a product called SMSMaker by GFI that turns emails into SMS's but I have a feeling they dont accept new customers anymore

Have a look at e-txt.com and Text Marketer, they might offer what you want.
Also most sms gateways offer a email to sms service (usually via a Outlook add-on) which you could potentially manipulate into doing what you want (ie: use rules to automatically send a reply with X template, schedule sms's etc). I think Red Oxygen have a free trial so you could test this out.
As you say a custom application would probably be worth looking at, it certainly isn't hard as the API's sms gateways offer tend to be pretty straight forward (usually JSON) so a web-based(PHP perhaps)/.NET app would be a piece of piss. If you want it web-based then just contact a few web agencies, as they'll easily be able to help you. But prepared to pay a pretty penny for it, certainly the few agencies i've worked with would charge you around the 30/40k+ for a web app like that.
A freelance software dev would be the cheaper option obviously but it'll take longer than a software house.

Got a mate who works at a company as a programmer for this kind of thing. They do all these porno text/call and ringtone things.

Thanks Dom, had a look at etxt, just not sure how it would work from my number that i've got, same with the ones Mike and Davey put up.
Will have a proper read on them and send a few emails out.

Depends who you've got your short code from, the provider usually has a sms gateway themselves so you can do everything via them but some providers (i know MXTelecom will do it as i've briefly worked on a project using them before) will push messages on via HTTP/SMPP to your server(s) - so in terms of HTTP, their servers do a GET request on yours with the various message parameters (so http://whitte.com/smsmesg.php?msgid=(smsid)&from=(smsfrom)&to=(smsto)&msg=(smsmsg) where everything in brackets is filled in by their servers).
Have a look at your provider and see what they offer.
