Anyone any idea how they compare to an alloy of the same size?

Quite weighty compared to a Cesaro IIRC
I tried one on my Corsa for a mate when we were doing some clearance over Wilwoods checks - I'm sure the steel was heavier - both Steel & Cesaro were fitted 195/45/15s

Doesn't answer the question you asked Ian, but related:
I once weighed a bare Cesaro and a bare Corsa C SXI wheel (no tyre, no weights, no valve) - obviously both wheels are 15", and from memory are both 6" wide, but the Cesaro weighed in at just under 6kg, while the SXI was more like 9kg.

Interesting nevertheless!
That's comparable to a Comp MO, I think they're just over 6.
