Was going down a dual carriage way earlier its a 40mph stretch. Some idiot was sitting on my bumper for about a minute despite been in the left hand lane with a clear right a hand lane to overtake so i lost my rag and gave it some beans away from him. Went around a corner only to be greeted with a speed camera facing me must of been doing 50mph when i hit the road markings got down to about 40 by the time i was at the end. Would i of seen the camera flash if it was in the daytime? Just want to know whether or not to expect a fine.

yeah you woulda seen a flash i would of thought, theyre bloody bright things!

Yes you would of seen the flash, I've been flashed from the front but luckyly I haven't had nothing come through. 2 months to this day.

Some don't flash, some use IR flashes that you might not see.

Its my understanding that Truvelo's don't flash and they are rather common.

mainly gatso's in this part of the world, only truvelo type thing I can think of in south wales is near cardiff airport

what shape was the camera was it the usual rectangle gatsos? they dont get you from the front
the narrower ones with the bigger round red eye do though

truvellos do flash I has seen it on more than one occasion.
You mention it was facing you if so not much to worry about

im waiting for one too, was travelling in stafford, awful place hate it, anyway was 8pm and dead, nothing on the road, go into a 30mph notice speed camera signs so take it slow, go round a bend and down a straight down hill with a slight bend at the bottom of the dip, go round the bend to see an unmarked camera van, glanced down at the same time i hit the brakes and my sat nav was reading 34, dropped down to 28 in less then a second, also there was a 206 in front of me travelling faster, my hope is that he either got him and was focussed on him at the time giving me chance to slow, or that i was on the ball quick enough to drop my speed.
sneaky fuckers though look at a downhill stretch where naturally you can let the car pick up pace, also at a quiet time of the day.
that was saturday, so counting the days lol

34 on the satnav you'll be fine Steve, been doing 40 on the speedo in the Mito before in a 30 and heard nothing
