on your existing pistons?
If its for 285 cams in x14xe I think you should sit down and have a think about the engine. If this is a standard induction, and ECU - FORGET about them - they will not be worth the hassle (crap idle, shifted power band, crap fuel consumption).
Actually pocketing you existing pistons isnt expensive - its getting them out, then back in afterwards. Look for local machine shops, or ask local garages who they use for any machining?
You may as well put new shells in, new rings, ARP rod bolts etc etc if you do bother doing it though.
In fact - just BUY pistons with correct pockets and CR.
Look on SBD for ideas (not the cheapest).
If these cams are to go into a decent spec engine fair enough - but anything less than an X14XE with a Mantzel style inlet is just pointless.
You may also need to change to solid lifters and most def uprated valve springs.

Its not worth it.
If the engine is running fine as is just leave it. A rebuild or even just head rebuild for valve gear IS NOT worth the gains you'll see on a 1.4.

[flame suit] Just buy a faster car[/flame suit]
Its cheaper in the long run.
Been there - done that - wasted the cash.
