I think a couple of people on here have them, try checking out cliosport too, loads of people over there have them. I wouldnt have thought they would have had the belts done at 30k yet though.

long story cut short!

i bought a clio 197 cup cos it was cheap damage repairable car, only done 7k miles and 58plate!

just bought it as practical car to stop miles getting racked up on the vx220 and got more seats and space, etc etc

repaired it and did treat it to kw coilovers, spacers, miltec, and ipg filter!

worst this is the fuel comsumption, i am averaging 25mpg which is only little beta than the vx220 was doing that had 100hp more!

tax is 235 a year, insurance is ok i guess, 350 a year less then vx220!

dont expect it to out accelerate things and win in straight line races cos its not fast fast!

but as a drivers car i dont think i have driven a more fun and such a complete package!! i can only comment on it with kw coilover fitted but it handles amazingly and has sooo much grip its really increadble for a front wheels drive car! brakes are amazing also!

i bought the car as a normla run a bout and have ended up not re insuring and 300hp vx220 cos i found i can have almost as much fun with the clio on the road!

my switch has broken to dim the instruments, but that was broken when i got the car, £32 for new on so not gonna break the bank!

i dont honestly know of many problems with them, seem to be pretty well put together and some parts are cheap for them, eg. new battery cover for mine was 9 quid! brand new seat cover was £150 which i didnt think was so bad, these are just costs i had to pay when repairing mine!
