my corsa's temperature gauge rises to approx 98 when im slowly creeping in traffic and when in a jam it used to rise quite slowly but now it does slightly quicker but when im generally drivin about it sits at 90 degrees
is it normal and does all urs do it????????

this is normal, only get worried if it starts going into the red
when your in a traffic jam there is no air being forced thru the rad therefore the water temp heats up quicker. once you start move then the airflow thru the rad cools the water

yeah, on a 4 mile journey from cold about 4oC my car doesnt even have time to heat up propely (normal running temp 90.2oC on my car.
on the same 4 mile journey from cold about 15oC it warms up in about 2miles to 90.2oC
