Had my iPhone about 1 month now and still trying to get the hang of it.
I have just deleted some apps that I no longer need and instead of moving all the other apps I am keeping into the empty spaces, it leaves them where they are
So I have the standard 16 apps on the first home page, 12 on the second home page and 2 on the third home page.
I know how to re-shuffle them on the page they are currently on but how do I move the 2 that are stranded on the third home page into the empty slots on the second home page?
Sorry if thats confusing  and thanks in advance

Press down on one of them for a while and they all start to shake. Now you can move them to where you want them.
Hit the round button at the bottom to stop it.

You can also sort them in iTunes.

I had tried that and when they all start shaking it lets me move them within the page they are on but not across to another page?

Take them to the edge of the page and it'll swipe to that page with the icon you're trying to move.
