i jumped on it last night and had some fun, since i cant wait for gt5 i thought about doing this to pass some time.
using the Toyota GT1 (TS020) i managed 6:46:xx but i messed up a couple of times, so can probably make some time up.
anyway, the way this can work is having a set standard car that everyone can use which is relativly cheap to buy (ideas?) and another time for whatever car you want, tuned how you want to get the fastest lap possible.

what standard car would you suggest? i was thingking something likea mx5 or something similar.

Can do, I was mainly thinking of doing fastest lap 
Yeah MX5 or 320 or something boring. I still think you will get people saying the car had been set up, custom suspension/brake's etc.

Don't bother Jonny. Just get an Xbox and Forza. I'm told it's better, even though nobody has played GT5 yet.

Thats really strange because it felt quite good when i played the GT Acadamy demo. Weird how they seem to have spent years developing a physics engine only to scrap it for a floaty one in the last 6 months...

Thats well shit. If the heater vents aren't in the right place on my Astra ill be fucking livid. Something like that would totally destroy the game for me.
