yes and no, they glaze and go hard really easily but thats down to lack of use really, i havent came across one that hasn't been perfect after a rub down and clean

I've had my handbrake tightened at least 5 times.

so what am i doing, taking the drum off and giving it a sand with rough paper? same with the shoes?

thats it lee, then either blow the dust of or prefrbly clean with some brake cleaner, if your feeling confident can try adjuting them too but if the footbake is fine may be pointless. hammer maybe you should invest in a rear disc set up?

i thought they were self adjusting but ill have a look when its in bits. suppose i can finally paint my drums black to get rid of the flaky blue and red thats currently there!

yes, but they are never very good, can useually get another 10 clicks to where they should be

The missus has got it, I'm going to get something else

I could live with it tbh, being manly and having massive biceps like Steve, but she couldn't and moaned the face off me 'til it got fixed.
