Anyone know the tyre pressures for an evo 8 with the 6 spoke enkei rims running 225/45/17 front and 235/45/17 rear?
Fitted my Evo Rims to the civic tonight but I'm not so sure 32 front and 30 rear as per my Honda wheels is right
What do we reckon? Drop the fronts to 30 too?

Whatever you do the rolling radius of each tyre front and rear is different. tyre pressure is personal preference, 32 is always good.

No point running EVO presures on a civic as its lighter!

This, EVO 8 pressure's are pretty irrelevant to the answer you are looking for.

Its not so much down to the weight of the car, but more to do with what type of driving your doing i.e. town, motorway or mix of both and what weight you carry in the car. If your town driving and there's just you in the car run 34psi. If your motorway run 32psi as tyres generate more heat on high speed runs. Again with more weight in the car run 34psi.

run them at whatever the standard wheels for your car are run at, it will be the same pressure but maybe a different volume of air

You would be better getting the correct size of tyres for your car(205/45r17) as the rolling radius of your tyres, especially your fronts will throw your speedo reading out. If your tyres are good on the rims now you may be able to part ex them against a set of correct size tyres for the car. Then you can run then at the factory recommended pressures.
