Bought my sister a Macbook over here in the states as its much cheaper my only concern now is how she is going to use it in the uk in terms of the power adaptor I dont want to open the box to check the power adaptor so could anyone tell me if it accepts the usual 110-240v

or would I be best off buying an original UK plug

double check on the apple website, but i'm 99% sure the actual PSU is rated 110-240v and you just need to purchase a UK plug adaptor for the end of it ie - this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Apple-UK-Plug-adaptor-/110580010811?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopAccessories_PowerSupplies&hash=item19bf150f3b

My adaptor is rated 100-240v so should just be a case of buying a UK attachment for the end which conveniently it slides on and off for that purpose
