Well as some of you may know i have a job interview soon with Chiqutos the mexican food chain.
Ive just had a letter through the post confirming the date and time of my interview. However it states that it is a group interview and will last two hours
Does anyone have any experience of group interviews as the last job interview i had was over 5 years ago

Most ive ever had in an interview is 2.
Just remember to include them all, try to keep eye contact & not just focus your attention to a single interview or you'll piss the rest off!!

I've been in a room of 50 before, for a mechanical engineer trainee programme a few years back. Got through to the final 5, and offered a job, but decided against that route of employment.
Just make sure you do well on any questions asked, and if you're doing a written paper of some form, check it and double check it.

You just have to make sure they notice you the most and for good reasons.

Am i right in thinking this is when they have a big group of you and give your problems to solve etc and then analyze you from that?

Yeah, we did two written papers, one full of stupid questions like "What do you see outside"
Other to do with marketing and knowledge of bits.
We also did a team building thing, where we had to build a bridge out of 200 pieces.

Make sure you bring in your C.V, qualifications and N.R.A.. and any other documentation with you, so that when your having your group interview you can hand it to them, when they are reading it.. its one less person eyeing you up, and it does help
I know that sounds basic but many people forget lol

I really dont rate these type of things - they dont show you in a true form.
Its like apprentice - everyone is just talking and being a bellend to get noticed.

Had a group interview years ago for Asda. Team building type stuff like building a tower with straws etc.
I didn't get through so any advice I give would be useless

if your in a group doing problem solving, try and get everyone in your team involved, this looks good to the people who are watching you. Also try and take the lead without being bossy.
done these at my last group interview and i got the job

I've had two group interviews before. As said, try and get everyone else involved. Show initiative, have a team mentality and be confident!

Had to do group interviews to get my job at Topman.
Involved brainstorming and problem solving. they also did individual interviews too.
Just do as has been said above and you should be fine
