Looking to get some for my sisters 18th birthday at the end of the month.

Found this website where they seem ridiculously cheap- anyone ever ordered anything from here for their sisters/girlfriends?

http://www.ghds-uk.org/ghd-hair-straighteners.html

It is similar to the official GHD site where they are about £100, so not sure if i am comfortable putting my bank details in.

Cheers

Looks too good to be true. I used beautysleuth.com bit more expensive but they are legit. Try h/dressers. Just pay the price cheapskate.

the official website has a bit where you can type in the retailers website and it tells you if they are dodgy or not. it says "caution - unknown retailer website".

It looks like a poor clone attempt of the official GHD website. Also can't find any reviews of it, stay clear.

it makes me laugh when they do this. why go to all that trouble and then sell them for a price that sets the alarm bells ringing? should just advertise them for a fiver less then more people might fall for it.

i have to deal with these ''fraud' claims at work for the likes of ghds. Just buy off the official site and leave it their, if you cant afford a 100% genuine pair then just save up, or get something else.

the fakes catch alight quite easily too and burn hair. if your sister likes bald patches then go for it.
