Will rev up fine but under load holds back at high revs.

Anyone possibly shed any light on this

sounds more likely a sensor to me but it could be the fuel pump. EML?

sounds like a typical 2.5 mate, my vec 2.5 revs up fine but has a flat spot about 2.5k and at 4.5k seems the norm, people take the throttle bodys off and get rid of the horid lip inside and fit them with a 3.8Bar FPR and it seems to fix this

also unplaug ht lead see if oil is in ther as ther common for the rocker gasket goin.. could alsways try a fuel filter to, other than that its probz a sensor

i hav the same problem in my vectra recently , no eml . Think my traction control is playin up because it stops doin it once you turn it off . . Whats the best way to remove this lip ?

TC is turned off

Its had a new fuel filter.

It seems like its a common problem on these and is easily fixed with a fpr off an mv6
