I'm thinking of starting to go for a run in the mornings. Starting to put on a few pounds of late.

Anything i should not do or anything that can help on the old knees etc.

nike + is suppose to be good too

And some decent trainers if your planning on doing this alot.

I live next to a forest/country park so enjoy running more cross country then on the roads. Road running kills my knee after a while so I have to wear a support.

If you havent run in a while, i wouldnt worry about your knees yet - After a mile you'll be fecked.

Best thing I ever did was go to a running shoe shop and get a decent pair of shoes that are shaped to my feet etc and suit the way I run, I can run for much longer now
