Considering their initial quote was £610k, I doubt it cost quite that much, as he did then do a fair bit of work himself.
Saying that, I don't work in the industry though, so I don't know for sure!

I presonally didn't like it.
While I understand the whole "Green" thing, I do find it frustrating when they go on about all these houses which cost more to make but will be self funded.....
...and then they don't put some of the tech in because it costs too much....then the wing generater was a complete waste, its all so experimental.
Personally for a build @ virtually £350 I would have wanted a lot more. They made sooo many comprimises. The bedrooms are tiny, the bloody garage is bigger than the smaller bedrooms! Not only small they looked like bloody prision cells with the block finish.
If you don't go silly £350K can build you a lot of house.
