currently own a corsa c-let running approx 280bhp, but was thinking how do the corsa c's compare??

What i mean is for things like handling, is the engine more smooth as its newer/more update with sensors etc?

Does it take more money/more parts to take it upto 300bhp. what do stock internals handle bhp wise??

Are they much of an upgrade in comparison??

thanks

lol sorry see how that looks i meant i currently own a corsa b c-let, but wondered how they compared to the c with a z-let, for things like how easy is it to get power out of them, is handling any better/better road holding?
are they a smoother drive due to having newer running gear / sensors etc??

will depend on alot of things to how smooth they are to drive ie suspention setup/wheels/tyres , should handle better in theroy than b's, road holding wont really be any different tho.

if you ment is the engine smoother than a c20let then yes they are but not so you would go 'wow arent these smooth'

its just a newer car so certain things will be better.

someone mentioned the LEH is the better route to take? were these the vxr engines with 240bhp standard or something like that??
yes meant engine being smoother, as i know the c-lets can be abit tempermental with slight hesitation at times etc, was just curious more than anything if its a worth while upgrade. also any idea what it would take to get 300bhp out of one??

B is lighter?

C20let is much preferred to the Z (owned both) if your after a more raw engine that's easier to get power out of etc.

some of the clet parts you can swap between the 2, but it would be alot cheaper to tune the clet than the zlet if wanted mega power.

The corsa C Z20LET is awesome. Can't compare to a B-C20LET as I have never driven one. Mine is running 272 with 314 ft lb. It's just the best feelin ever and as easy to drive as a 1.1. The ZLET is the better engine out the 2 as the crank is stronger than the LEH. This what im told anyway.
So far the best car I have ever drove, owned and probably will be the best for a long time.

I have Stavs it was far better built and much more refined, 2 things I wouldn't look for when putting a big engine into it

whats usually required to achieve 300 from a zlet? do internals have to be changed at this point or are they like the clets that handle 350bhp out the box?

VXR turbo
VXR AFM
VXR injectors
Front mount intercooler
2.5 exhaust from turbo

re-map

300 is there safe limit, lots of people are on 300 with standard internals and have had no problems

might be an idea to upgrade the feul pump to be safe

i would say you need a 3inch exhaust from turbo back to be sure of getting to magical 300hp!

my van has z20leh engine and go that running 310hp and 360lb torque

vx220 has z20let and thats 291 with 310lb

i have had an astra with c20let engine and few cars with z20let/leh engines and for me the z20 are much beta engines, for me they z20's have been way more reliable!

having said that i have had a corsa with z20let that was 250bhp and i much prefer my vans handling i think just cos its little bit bigger for me it feels safer and more at home with the power!
